The Matcham Hall is a small, historic public hall located in the picturesque Matcham and Holgate Valleys of the NSW Central Coast.

Supporting Our Community for over 100 years

Established in 1916, the Hall was built by members of the local community to serve as a focus for activities and entertainment. In the early years, the Hall was used for community dances and get togethers, for Sunday Services before the foundation of the St George's Church and for meetings on community issues.

Over a century later the Hall remains an important part of our local community. As new residents move into the valley they are always welcome to come and meet some of their neighbours at one of our BBQs or parties. We hope that the Hall will always be used for a range of activities, appealing to many different ages and backgrounds. This is the way we hope to continue that tradition of community involvement that the founders of our lovely little Hall had in mind so long ago.

The hall is fully stocked with tables and chairs, and dining utensils.
